PUBLIC NOTICE ISSUED
The St Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) has issued a Phase III Extreme Water Shortage Order effective May 11, 2026 impacting Lake County and surrounding counties.
What This Means for You
Landscape irrigation is now restricted to one day per week under
the following schedule:
- Odd-numbered addresses Saturday
- Even-numbered addresses Sunday
- Nonresidential properties Tuesday
Irrigation is prohibited between 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. on all days regardless of your assigned watering day.
This is a reduction from the previous two-day-per-week allowance and applies across Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns Counties.
